SAN FRANCISCO – A Santa Clara County contractor alleges it was not paid in full for work done on a San Francisco property.

Baila Floors filed a complaint on Jan. 7 in the San Francisco Superior Court against National Tenant Improvements Inc. alleging breach of contract and other counts.

According to the complaint, on April 21, 2016, Baila Floors entered into a flooring contract with the defendant for the plaintiff to furnish labor, services and equipment for a property in San Francisco.

The plaintiff alleges it issued an invoice to the defendant in May 2016 for $15,462.60 and to date, the defendant has only paid $7,658.

The plaintiff alleges it sent a second invoice in June 2016 for $19,304.17 and the defendant has failed to pay anything on that invoice.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks judgment for the sum of $27,108.77 for the value of performance, with attorneys' fees, costs of suit, and any all other relief the court may deem just and proper. It is represented by Katherine R. Moore and Davie Banie of the Law Office of Katherine R. Moore in Redwood City.
