Car accident 39

SAN FRANCISCO – A San Francisco man alleges that he was injured in a collision in San Francisco County caused by a driver's failure to yield to the right of way.

Elliot Goliger filed a complaint on Jan. 15 in the San Francisco Superior Court against Hai Tao Ren alleging negligence.

According to the complaint, on Feb. 14, 2017, Goliger was operating his vehicle in San Francisco County when the defendant allegedly caused a collision with the plaintiff's vehicle. As a result, the plaintiff claims he sustained physical injuries, emotional distress and medical expenses.

The plaintiff holds Ren responsible because the defendant allegedly failed to yield to the right of way and entered the roadway before it was reasonably safe to do so.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks judgment for general and economic damages, costs of suit, prejudgment interest and such other further relief as the court deems just and proper. He is represented by Katie McIver of Harris Personal Injury Lawyers Inc. in Oakland.
