Omni Financial alleges tenant owes more than $500,000 for rent

FRESNO – The owner of a Fresno commercial property alleges a tenant defaulted on payments for a lease.

Omni Financial LLC filed a complaint on Jan. 17 in the Fresno County Superior Court against Pino Borelli, individually and doing business as Club Imperiol, and Does 1-10 alleging breach of contract

According to the complaint, on Jan. 21, 2014, the plaintiff entered into an agreement with the defendant for a five-year lease of the property. 

The plaintiff alleges the defendant defaulted on the lease payments and the defendant was served with a three-day notice to quit or pay rent in November 2018. The plaintiff alleges the defendant has failed and/or refused to pay the amount.

The plaintiff seeks judgment for damages of past due rent and common area maintenance charges in the amount of no less than $516,379.16; damages of future rent in the amount no less than $85,518.78; plus prejudgment interest, costs of suit, and such and further relief as the court may deem just and proper.
