Driver alleges rear-end collision in Fresno caused injuries

FRESNO – A woman alleges she was injured in a rear-end collision in Fresno.

Lina Obeid filed a complaint on Jan. 22 in the Fresno County Superior against Joel Benjamin Young, John B. Young and Does 1 to 100 alleging negligence.

According to the complaint, on Nov. 14, 2017, Obeid was driving on Reed Avenue in Fresno when defendants' vehicle collided with the rear of her vehicle as she was stopped in traffic. As a result, the plaintiff alleges she sustained bodily injuries and continues to incur medical expenses for the treatment of her injuries. 

The plaintiff holds Joel Benjamin Young, John B. Young and Does 1 to 100 responsible because the defendants allegedly failed to take proper of control of their vehicle and drove at the speed greater than the traffic conditions.

The plaintiff seeks judgment for compensatory damages, costs of suit, and for such relief as is fair, just and equitable. She is represented by Rodney C. Haron in Fresno.
