FRESNO – A Fresno facility is alleged to have failed to warn of a hazard that allegedly caused a man to fall.

Ronnie N. Smart filed a complaint on Jan. 23 in the Fresno County Superior Court against Cardiovascular Consultants Heart Center and Does 1 to 100 alleging premises liability and negligence.

According to the complaint, on Feb, 21, 2017, Smart was at defendant's facility in Fresno when he slipped and fell because of an irregularly sloped ramp that created a misstep hazard.

The plaintiff holds Cardiovascular Consultants Heart Center responsible because the defendant allegedly failed to warn, remedy and/or take any action to prevent the dangerous condition to injure plaintiff or other invitees.

The plaintiff seeks judgment for compensatory damages, costs of suit and for such relief as is fair, just and equitable. He is represented by Abraham Dervishian of D&Z Law Group in Glendale.
