SAN FRANCISCO – An insurance company is seeking the recovery of costs it paid to its insured over a collision that occurred in San Francisco.
State Farm Mutual Automobile Insurance Co. filed a complaint on Jan. 31 in the San Francisco Superior Court against Impark Pacific Parking LLC and Does 1-40 seeking subrogation recovery.
According to the complaint, on July 5, 2018, the defendants' vehicle struck the vehicle of the plaintiff's insured, Brian Esquivel, on Battery Street in San Francisco.
The suit states the plaintiff provided Esquivel the sum of $1,354.52. The plaintiff alleges it is entitled to its right of subrogation to recover the sums.
The plaintiff alleges the defendants have failed and refused to pay the amount.
The plaintiff seeks judgment for subrogation damages in the amount of $1,354.52 and such other relief deemed just. It is represented by Richard L. Mahfouz II and Andrew B. Dorr of Clerkin, Sinclair & Mahfouz LLP in San Diego.
