SAN FRANCISCO – A woman alleges she was injured at Imperial Tea Court in a fall caused by a liquid on the floor.

Posey Tibbon filed a complaint on Jan. 29 in the San Francisco Superior Court against the city and county of San Francisco, Imperial Tea Inc., Imperial Tea Corp., et al., alleging negligence.

According to the complaint, on Feb. 17, 2018, Tibbon was at defendants' Imperial Tea Court premises when she slipped and fell because of a liquid on the floor. She alleges she sustained severe personal injuries and damages.

The plaintiff holds the defendants responsible because they allegedly failed to use reasonable care to inspect, discover, repair, cure, correct and/or warn pedestrians and/or customers of the unsafe, defective and dangerous condition.

The plaintiff seeks judgment for compensatory damages, costs of suit, and such relief as is fair, just and equitable. She is represented by Franck C. Liuzzi of Liuzzi, Murphy, Solomon, Churton & Hale LLP in San Francisco.
