SAN FRANCISCO – A scooter driver has filed suit against a driver and the owner of a Dodge Charger over alleged injuries he sustained when he was struck on a San Francisco street.

Santiago Ossa filed a complaint on Feb. 1 in the San Francisco Superior Court against Roniesta Wyatt, Nattie Wyatt and Does 1 through 100 alleging negligence.

According to the complaint, on July 8, 2017, Ossa was riding a vehicle/scooter on 17th Street in San Francisco when he was struck by defendant Nattie Wyatt's 2016 Dodge Charger, which was driven by defendant Roniesta Wyatt.

As a result, plaintiff claims he suffered multiple injuries, lacerations, internal injuries that required medical treatment and hospitalizations.

The plaintiff holds the defendants responsible because they allegedly were negligent in the care, operation, ownership or control of the vehicle.

The plaintiff seeks judgment for general and special damages, property damages, costs of suit, prejudgment interest, and such other and further relief as the court may deem proper. He is represented by Douglas S. Saeltzer of Walkup, Melodia, Kelly & Schoenberger in San Francisco.
