Jones, Schiller & Co. alleges it is owed nearly $20,000 from client for services

SAN FRANCISCO – A San Francisco accounting firm alleges a client failed to pay for its services.

Jones, Schiller & Co. filed a complaint on Feb. 5 in the San Francisco Superior Court against Tamera Briones alleging breach of contract.

According to the complaint, between 2016 and 2017, Jones, Schiller & Co. performed services for the defendant. The suit states the plaintiff billed the defendant $17,734 in November 2017 and the plaintiff has failed to pay the amount.

The plaintiff alleges the original amount plus $2,191.36 is now due and owing.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks judgment for monetary damages amounting to $19,925.36, all causes of action, costs of suit, and such other and further relief as the court deems just and proper. It is represented by Ben I. Hamburg of Hamburg Law Corp. in Oakland.
