Car accident 22

FRESNO – Two individuals allege they were injured in a collision in Fresno caused by an intoxicated driver.

Simranjit Singh Dhillon and Gurvinder Singh Dhillon filed a complaint on Feb. 13 in the Fresno County Superior Court against Isaiah Sameul Medellin, Valerie Vargas and Does 1-25.

According to the complaint, the plaintiffs allege that on Nov. 24, 2018, they were traveling on state Route 180 in Fresno when Medellin, who was operating a vehicle owned by Vargas while intoxicated, collided with their vehicle.

The plaintiffs hold Medellin, Vargas and Does 1-25 responsible because Medellin allegedly operated a vehicle while intoxicated and drove at an unsafe speed and Vargas entrusted a vehicle to a person younger than 21 and to a person in an intoxicated condition.

The plaintiffs seek judgment against the defendants for compensatory and punitive damages, costs of suit and other relief as is fair and just. They are represented by Warren R. Paboojian and Nolan C. Kane of Baradat & Paboojian Inc. in Fresno.
