MAYER BROWN: Mayer Brown promotes 11 to counsel worldwide

Mayer Brown issued the following announcement on Nov. 19.

Mayer Brown has announced the promotion of 11 lawyers worldwide to counsel. The appointments are effective January 1, 2021.

“These newly promoted lawyers have demonstrated an unwavering commitment to client service and collaboration with their colleagues,” said Mayer Brown Chairman Paul Theiss. “It is a sincere pleasure to congratulate these outstanding lawyers upon their promotion.”

The new counsel are:

Rémy Bonnaud, Tax Transactions & Consulting, Paris

Rémy Bonnaud is a Tax Transactions & Consulting counsel in Paris. Admitted to the Paris bar, he advises international groups and investment funds in their acquisition and financing activities, as well as real estate transactions. His practice focuses on different aspects of cross-border transactions, including tax due diligence and structuring. Mr. Bonnaud also advises investment funds on structuring aspects and provides assistance to companies with regard to their day-to-day tax matters.

Graham (Gray) M. Buccigross, Intellectual Property, Northern California

Gray Buccigross, an Intellectual Property counsel in Northern California, focuses his practice on patent litigation and other commercial litigation involving high technology. He has handled all aspects of such litigation, including trial and appeal. The patent disputes have predominantly involved high technology, including semiconductors, telecommunications, and computer hardware and software. Mr. Buccigross has also represented clients in proceedings in the US International Trade Commission, the US PTO, and the ICC International Court of Arbitration.

Matthew B. Chow, Banking & Finance, Singapore

Matthew Chow is a Singapore-based Banking & Finance counsel with significant experience working with both project sponsors and lenders in the development of major power and infrastructure projects across the Middle East, Australia, Asia and the Americas, with a particular focus on southeast and central Asia. Mr. Chow’s core practice includes advising on EPC and other construction contracts, PPAs, supply and offtake arrangements, concession agreements and other project documents across the energy, infrastructure and resources sectors.

Jed W. Glickstein, Litigation & Dispute Resolution, Chicago
