Morgan, Lewis and Bockius LLP issued the following announcement on July 14.

In order to earn WILEF’s Gold Standard status, law firms must satisfy the following: 25% of equity partners are women, or, alternatively, 40% of the lawyers becoming equity partners within the last year are female; and 10% of equity partners are women of color or 4% of women equity partners are LGBT.
Morgan Lewis is one of only nine US law firms that meets the standards, as well as exceeding the following criteria:
- 20% of the firm and US branch office heads are women.
- 25% of the firm’s primary governance committee are women.
- 25% of the firm’s compensation committee or its equivalent are women.
- 20% of the top half of the firm’s equity partners in terms of compensation are women.
