Jackson Lewis Adds Principal Kevin M. Erwin In Riverside, California

Jackson Lewis issued the following announcement on Dec. 29.

Nationwide employment law firm Jackson Lewis P.C. is pleased to announce Kevin M. Erwin has joined the firm’s new Riverside office as a principal. Kevin joins the firm from Lewis Brisbois and has more than 15 years of experience in all areas of labor and employment law.

“Kevin is a talented employment attorney who understands the needs of clients in various industries, and his experience in class and PAGA actions compliments our growing office,” Riverside Office Managing Principal and Office Litigation Manager Nicole M. Shaffer. “Adding Kevin to our roster of attorneys strengthens our ability to meet our clients’ needs in California and nationwide. We are thrilled to have him on board.”

Kevin represents employers, management and supervisors in all areas of labor and employment law. He has significant experience in all types of employment litigation, including class, collective and PAGA actions. Additionally, he represents clients the areas of workplace harassment and discrimination, wrongful termination, and wage and hour lawsuits in state and federal court, and before various administrative agencies such as the California Department of Fair Employment and Housing, the United States Equal Opportunity Commission, the California Labor Commissioner, and the California Unemployment Insurance Appeals Board. Kevin counsels clients in a variety of industries on labor and employment law matters including equal opportunity, workplace privacy, employee leave issues, wage and hour compliance, and hiring and termination practices.

Kevin’s legal experience has focused significantly on laws that regulate the workplace including Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, the Fair Employment and Housing Act, the Americans with Disabilities Act, the Age Discrimination in Employment Act, the California Family Rights Act, the Family and Medical Leave Act, the Fair Labor Standards Act, and the California Labor Code.

Kevin earned his J.D. from Pepperdine University School of Law and his B.A. from University of California, Davis.
