Buchalter is pleased to announce the addition of four new attorneys in Sacramento—Bryan Phipps, Jarom Phipps, and Grey Lund join the Tax, Benefits, and Estate Planning and Litigation practice groups, and Phillip Chan joins as a member of the Labor and Employment practice group.

Bryan Phipps joins as a Shareholder and focuses his practice on trusts and estates. He guides his clients with respect to avoiding and resolving inheritance disputes, and regularly assists and advises them on proactive estate planning techniques, diligent administration of trust and probate estates, and ardent representation in trials and appeals. Bryan Phipps is a Certified Specialist in Estate Planning, Trust, and Probate Law by the State Bar of California Board of Legal Specialization.

Jarom Phipps is also a certified specialist in estate planning, trust, and probate law by the California State Bar Board of Legal Specialization. His specialty is trust and estate related litigation, where he helps clients navigate complex issues all the way through discovery and trial. His clients include trustees, executors, creditors, and beneficiaries/heirs.
Lund assists trustees, beneficiaries, personal representatives, and other interested parties at all stages of trust and probate administrations. He also has experience in guardianship and conservatorship matters. With his experience representing clients from diverse backgrounds, Lund customizes each client’s comprehensive estate plan to account for family dynamics, life changes, and other specific needs.
Chan has represented individuals and companies in the construction, financial, agriculture, insurance, healthcare, and transportation industries. As an employment litigator, he has extensive experience defending employers against single-plaintiff and class action claims. Prior to joining the firm, Chan was the General Counsel of Pacific Coast Companies, Inc., which is a subsidiary of Pacific Coast Building Products, Inc.—an international building products company.
