The firm also earned awards in the Deal of the Year – Large Mid-Markets and Corporate Deal of the Year – Lower Mid-Markets categories.

USA M&A Law Firm of the Year

The firm earned the coveted USA M&A Law Firm of the Year award for its excellence in executing transactions during the competitive market over the last year. The award recognizes teams that have successfully executed growth transactions and demonstrated expertise in identifying value-creating transactions.

Deal of the Year – Large Mid-Markets (deal size above $500 million and below $1 billion)

Troutman Pepper was recognized for its representation of Repay Holdings Corporation in the company’s $503 million acquisition of BillingTree. REPAY is a leading provider of vertically integrated payment solutions, and the acquisition of BillingTree is expected to expand REPAY’s position in healthcare, credit unions, and accounts receivable management, as well as enhance the company’s scale and client diversification.

Corporate Deal of the Year – Lower Mid-Markets

The firm was recognized for its representation of Extremity Healthcare in its merger with Upperline Health. The combined entity is the largest provider of lower extremity care services in the United States with nearly 150 providers across six states serving over 200,000 patients annually.

Troutman Pepper was recognized for its achievements during the Annual USA M&A Middle Market Atlas Awards celebrations on May 4, 2022. John Jones, partner and chair of the Health Care Transactional and Regulatory Practices, accepted the awards on behalf of the firm. The annual awards honor excellence in the categories of deals, teams, and outstanding firms.
