For the last few years, California has required employers with 100 or more employees nationwide to report the pay and hours-worked data pertaining to their California employees by establishment, job category, sex, race, and ethnicity. In 2022, the California Legislature passed Senate Bill 1162, which enhanced the California pay data reporting law by, among other things, requiring private employers with 100 or more workers hired through labor contractors in the prior calendar year to report pay data for these workers.  This webinar will walk through the new requirements, what data will need to be gathered for both employees and contractors, and the logistics of filing pay data reports with the state.
