Am Law 100 firm Polsinelli and Rowan TELS/Rowan Patents have been named to The National Law Journal’s “2023 Legal Technology Trailblazers” list, earning the recognition for their collaborative partnership for visually creating patent applications based on method or apparatus claims.
Polsinelli and Rowan TELS formed a strategic partnership in 2022 to harness the power of their respective technologies to better serve clients. Rowan acquired Polsinelli’s in-house developed PatentCAD technology to use its NLP-based features, enabled by years of patent drafting expertise, to enhance Rowan Patents. Polsinelli implemented Rowan Patents to support its extensive patent drafting and prosecution work, ensuring that Polsinelli remains at the forefront of technology innovation and adoption. PatendCAD was created by a team that included Brian K. McKnight, Simon G. Booth, Thomas M. Isaacson, Shelton W. Austin and Gregory P. Durbin.
The Polsinelli - Rowan TELS partnership combines complimentary and practical tools that aid attorneys in outputting quality patent applications with a consistent style and use of terminology across client teams. It is an ongoing collaboration to develop premier tools to provide and enhance value for clients.
