Morgan Lewis has been ranked #5 in The American Lawyer’s 2023 A-List of the “most well-rounded” firms in the United States, moving up three spots from 2022.
“The A-list recognition reflects high achievement across multiple categories—recognizing us as a firm that is elite in our practice but not elitist in the ways we promote and foster a welcoming environment for all,” said Firm Chair Jami McKeon. “We often say that what we care about most is our people and our clients, so having both lead us to this achievement is incredibly meaningful.”
The annual A-List considers a combination of financial and cultural factors—including pro bono commitment, associate satisfaction, and diversity—as it scores law firms for inclusion on its exclusive list. The feature noted, “The rolling stone gathers no moss, and it’s those firms with core convictions—those that know who they are and what they do, and do them well—that found themselves at the top of this year’s A-List.”
