In the Superior Court of California, County of San Francisco, plaintiffs Pia Malaika Loft, Niko Isaac Loft, and Remy Aaron Loft have filed a lawsuit against defendants Isaac Diego Astorga and CR Group Inc., doing business as Ideal Electric. The case, identified as CGC-24-614150, was filed on April 23, 2024.

The lawsuit stems from an incident that occurred on August 11, 2022. Graham Michael Loft was driving his motorcycle eastbound on Market Street in San Francisco when he collided with a Toyota Corolla driven by defendant Isaac Diego Astorga. The complaint alleges that Astorga violated Loft's right of way by making an unsafe left turn at the intersection with Danvers Street.

As a result of the collision, Graham Michael Loft suffered serious injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene. The plaintiffs are represented by June P. Bashant of Rouda, Feder, Tietjen & McGuinn.

The plaintiffs are seeking damages for wrongful death due to negligence and negligence per se involving a motor vehicle. They allege that at the time of the accident, Astorga was an employee of CR Group Inc., working within the scope and course of his employment.
