The Superior Court of California, County of Santa Clara, has received a lawsuit filed by Isela Ramirez against Chun-Yin Yu, Alvaro Alfonso Rivera-Soto, Blanca Esthela Cortez and 100 unnamed defendants. The case, identified as 24CV438772, was filed on May 10, 2024 and pertains to personal injury due to negligence related to a motor vehicle accident.

The plaintiff's attorneys are John E. Hill (S.B.N. 45338) and Luis F. Landeros (S.B.N. 333568) from the Law Offices of John E. Hill. The incident in question occurred on June 23, 2022 in San Jose, California where Ramirez was operating her vehicle when she was struck by another vehicle driven by defendant Rivera-Soto who had lost control after being hit by defendant Yu's car.

Defendants Yu and Cortez were identified as the registered owners of the vehicles involved in the accident - a 2015 Honda Civic and a 2004 Toyota Sienna respectively. Ramirez alleges that all defendants were negligently responsible for the events leading to her injuries and damages.

Ramirez is seeking judgment for damages caused by the negligence of all defendants. She asserts that their actions directly resulted in her injuries and consequent losses.
