A California resident has filed a lawsuit alleging negligence in a car accident that resulted in serious injuries. The complaint was filed by Isabelo Revadavia in the Superior Court of the State of California, County of San Francisco, on August 12, 2024, against two individuals named Hatye Situ and Britney Ao.
According to the court documents, the incident occurred on June 8, 2023, on US-101 Northbound leading to Ceasar Chavez Street in San Francisco. Revadavia claims that Situ and Ao were operating a vehicle negligently when they collided with his car. The plaintiff alleges that both defendants were acting within the scope of their employment at the time of the accident. "Defendants negligently, carelessly, and without due care or regard for the life, safety, and rights of Plaintiff did so own, entrust, maintain, operate, and/or failed to maintain the vehicle driven by Defendants in a safe manner," states the complaint.
Revadavia asserts that as a result of this negligence, he sustained severe injuries affecting his health and well-being. He is seeking compensation for medical expenses incurred and anticipated future costs related to his injuries. Additionally, he claims that these injuries have caused him significant mental and emotional distress. "Plaintiff is informed and believes and thereon alleges that said injuries will result in some permanent disability," reads another part of the filing.
The plaintiff is demanding a jury trial and seeks various forms of relief from the court. These include general damages for pain and suffering, economic damages for medical expenses and loss of earnings, as well as compensation for loss of earning capacity. Revadavia also seeks reimbursement for property damage resulting from the collision.
