For the sixth consecutive year, Benchmark Litigation has named Shook Partner Jessica Grant among the Top 250 Women in Litigation - USA West. She was previously named a Local Litigation Star and a Litigation Star in California by Benchmark.
As a nationally recognized business trial lawyer, Grant has significant first-chair experience in high-stakes matters. In 2023, Grant obtained a complete defense verdict in a California state court action with plaintiff asking for $150 million. After deliberating for three hours, the jury returned a complete defense verdict. Along with her litigation practice, Grant also has worked in complex cases involving patent, copyright infringement and trademark matters, from inception of the case through trial.
“These women earned this recognition by participating in some of the most impactful litigation matters in recent history as well as by earning the hard-won respect of their peers and clients,” wrote Benchmark.
The extensive research process used in the creation of Benchmark’s Top 250 Women in Litigation 2024 involves months of research into individual litigators’ professional activities as well as client feedback surveys and one-on-one interviews.
