According to the complaint, the City and County of San Francisco, a municipal corporation organized under California law, alleges that its employee, Bernie Hession, was involved in a vehicle collision on October 7, 2024. The incident occurred while Hession was performing his assigned duties within the city limits. The plaintiff claims that Johnson and other unnamed defendants were responsible for negligently managing and operating their vehicle, leading to the collision with Hession's vehicle.
The complaint details that due to this alleged negligence by Johnson and others involved, Hession sustained bodily injuries. Consequently, the City and County of San Francisco have been compelled to pay workers' compensation benefits exceeding the jurisdictional limit of limited court jurisdiction.
