Shasta Charter Academy, a Northern California charter school, has filed a petition for review with the California Supreme Court seeking to reverse an appellate-court ruling over satellite charter campuses.

Fully accredited branch of Monterey College of Law set to open in Kern County next summer

BAKERSFIELD, California – The Monterey College of Law, in conjunction with the State Bar of California Committee of Bar Examiners and the Board of Trustees, have approved the opening of an accredited branch of the Monterey College of Law. Kern County College of Law, scheduled to open next summer, will be located in Bakersfield.

Supreme Court rules Eureka police arrest video should be available to public

EUREKA -- According to a ruling by the California Supreme Court, police arrest videos must be made available to the public and cannot be considered part of confidential officer personnel records.
