Appeals court reverses lower court ruling in asphalt plant case

SAN FRANCISCO — The California First District Court of Appeal has reversed a trial court’s dismissal of a lawsuit by Friends of Outlet Creek against the Mendocino County Air Quality Management District to prevent a proposed asphalt plant at the site of an aggregate and concrete operation.

SAN FRANCISCO — The American Small Business League lost an appeal on Jan. 6 in the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 9th Circuit in San Francisco in an attempt to show evidence of reduced subcontracting opportunities for small businesses in Pentagon contracts.

SAN FRANCISCO -- The U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California has dismissed a suit against Amazon.com by Tridim Innovations alleging patent infringement.

Federal court dismisses FTC's data throttling suit against AT&T

SAN FRANCISCO – On Aug. 29 the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 9th Circuit dismissed a Federal Trade Commission (FTC) lawsuit against AT&T accusing it of slowing data speeds, or data throttling, on customers subscribed to unlimited smartphone data plans without clearly disclosing the policy.

Mendocino County board of supervisors approves Proposition 172 funds for fire services
