Judge denies motion to dismiss Tencue contract action lawsuit

SAN FRANCISCO — A federal judge has denied the defendant's motion to dismiss the contract action lawsuit brought against them by Carbon Crest LLC. U.S. District Judge William Alsup filed the order last month in the Northern District of California.

Patent complaint against Skedulo dismissed

SAN FRANCISCO — A federal judge has dismissed a patent complaint on the grounds that Rothschild Digital Confirmation LLC's patent was directed to an abstract idea and not added to an inventive concept.

Court requires plaintiff in discrimination case to undergo mental examination

SAN FRANCISCO — A federal magistrate judge has granted the government's motion to require an independent mental examination of Allison Snipes in a Title VII employment discrimination case. U.S. Magistrate Judge Thomas Hixson filed the order in the Northern District of California last month.
