SAN FRANCISCO – A Richmond company is accused of not paying for work provided by a Pennsylvania company.
FedEx Techconnect Inc., formerly known as FedEx Customer Information Services, filed a complaint Feb. 4 in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California against Urban Remedy Inc. alleging that the California corporation unlawfully failed to pay an invoice for services rendered.
According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that, between March 6, 2015, and May 29, 2015, it provided transportation services to the defendant. The suit states that FedEx Techconnect sent an invoice to the defendant in an attempt to collect payment totaling $136,612.79. The plaintiff claims the defendant has allegedly refused and failed to pay plaintiff even after several attempts were made.
The plaintiff seeks the following: compensation for damages in the amount of $136,612.79, including interest at a rate of 10 percent per annum, costs of the suit and any further relief the court deems just and proper. It is represented by John D. Guerrini of The Guerrini Law Firm in Pasadena.
