SAN FRANCISCO – A Santa Rosa business is seeking the court's help in a dispute over a domain name.

KRS Capital Partners filed a complaint on June 15 in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California against United Southwest Mortgage Corp. Inc., doing business as All Reverse Mortgage Co., and Does 1-36 seeking declaratory relief.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that it suffered damages as a result of a complaint filed against them by the defendant regarding the allreverse.com domain name, which it purchased in 2014. The plaintiff holds United Southwest Mortgage Corp. Inc. and Does 1-36 responsible because the defendants allegedly filed a complaint in order for the allreverse.com domain transferred to them.

The plaintiff seeks declaration that it is the sole owner of the domain allreverse.com domain name, declare that plaintiff's registration and use of the allreverse.com domain name is lawful, enjoin the defendant and its agents from transferring the domain name, and any other relief as the court deems just. It is represented by Karin P. Beam of Spaulding McCullough & Tansil LLP in Santa Rosa.
