Former Trianni employees accused of taking company information

SAN FRANCISCO – A California corporation alleges former employees misappropriated sensitive company information.

Trianni Inc. filed a complaint on June 21 in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California against Nigel Killeen, Zishan Haroon and MedBioz Limited alleging misappropriation of trade secrets, breach of contract, conversion and other counts.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that it suffered damages to its business as a result of its proprietary information being used to directly compete with them. The plaintiff holds Killeen, Haroon and MedBioz Limited responsible because the defendants allegedly deleted and transferred files from their Trianni-owned computers, which contained technical specifications and important details pertaining to the Bispecific and Autoimmune Platforms.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks declaration that ot owns the Bispecific and Autoimmune Patent applications; actual damages, general, incidental and consequential damages; exemplary damages; interest; all legal fees and any other relief as the court deems just.
