SAN DIEGO — A woman has filed suit against a resort after she allegedly was injured on its property.
Marcia Greener filed a complaint on Aug. 1 in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of California against MGM Resorts International Inc. and Does 1-10, citing alleged breach of duty and negligence.
According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that she sustained severe physical injuries, permanent disability, mental and physical pain and suffering, and incurred substantial medical expenses as a result of an incident that happened on the premises of the defendant's property.
The plaintiff holds MGM Resorts International Inc. and Does 1-10 responsible because the defendants allegedly failed to maintain safe premises and failed to warn business invitees of dangerous conditions.
The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks judgement against the defendants, damages in excess of $75,000, costs of suit, medical and incidental expenses, interest and further relief as the court deems appropriate. She is represented by John G. Madsen of Liebman, Quigley & Sheppard in San Diego.
