All Web Leads Inc. accused of placing unsolicited telemarketing calls

Phone 05

SAN DIEGO – A Whittier man alleges he was contacted by a company that deals in insurance policies without his permission.

Ron Ramos filed a complaint individually and on behalf of all others similarly situated on Oct. 5 in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of California against All Web Leads Inc., doing business as Bankrateinsurance.com, and Does 1-10 alleging violation of the Telephone Consumer Protection Act.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that in beginning in October 2015, he was contacted by the defendants in an attempt to solicit him to purchase defendants' services using an automatic telephone dialing system or an artificial or prerecorded voice on their cellular telephones. He alleges his number is listed on the National Do-Not-Call Registry and that the defendants continued to call after he revoked his consent.

The plaintiffs hold All Web Leads Inc. and Does 1-10 responsible because the defendants allegedly failed to obtain prior express written consent to place solicitation calls and utilized an autodialer and artificial voice.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks judgment against the defendants, damages and all other relief that the court deems just. He is represented by Todd M. Friedman, Adrian R. Bacon and Meghan E. George of Law Offices of Todd M. Friedman in Woodland Hills.
