MyGo LLC alleges individual sells infringing camera mount

Patents 05

SAN DIEGO – A San Diego business alleges an individual copied its patented camera mount.

MyGo LLC filed a complaint on Oct. 10 in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California against Steven Michael Mara, doing business as Ho Stevie, alleging patent infringement.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that, on July 5, MyGo LLC was lawfully issued a U.S. Patent titled Camera Mouth Mount for use with GoPro cameras. The plaintiff holds Mara responsible because the defendant allegedly introduced infringing products into the stream of commerce.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks judgment against defendant, permanent injunction, damages, attorneys' fees, costs incurred, interest and further relief as the court deems just. It is represented by Trevor Q. Coddington and James V. Fazio III of San Diego IP Law Group LLP in San Diego.
