LOS ANGELES – A Los Angeles County individual is alleged to have defaulted on a student loan.
United States of America filed a complaint on Oct. 27 in the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California against William Martin alleging that the individual failed to settle his debt with the plaintiff.
According to the complaint, Martin allegedly failed to pay the principal amount of his debt plus interest.
The plaintiff seeks principal amount of $2,701.75 plus interest in the amount of $6,047.67 with interest accruing thereafter at 8 percent, plus all legal fees. It is represented by Jacquelyne M. Nguyen of Law Office of Jacquelyne M. Nguyen in Costa Mesa.
