Los Angeles County man alleged to have defaulted on student loan

LOS ANGELES – A Los Angeles County resident is alleged have defaulted on a student loan.

United States of America filed a complaint on Nov. 10 in the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California against Abraham Muro Jr. alleging that the individual failed to settle his debt with the plaintiff.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that Muro failed to pay the principal amount of his debt plus interest.

The plaintiff seeks principal amount of $735.36 plus interest of $80.70 with further interest at 8 percent per annum accruing at 16 cents per day, all legal fees and any other relief as the court deems just. It is represented by William I. Goldsmith and Michael L. Goldsmith of Goldsmith & Hull in Northridge.
