Woman alleges 2929 Entertainment LP, Landmark Theatre Corp. continue to send texts

LOS ANGELES – A Los Angeles resident alleges she continues to receive commercial texts after revoking her consent.

Victoria Kissel filed a complaint on Nov. 14 in the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California against 2929 Entertainment LP, Landmark Theatre Corp. and Does 1-10 alleging violation of the Telephone Consumer Protection Act.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that she withdrew her consent from receiving texts from the defendants. She alleges that despite this request, the defendants continue to send her messages.

The plaintiff seeks statutory damages, injunctive relief, all legal fees and any other relief as the court deems just. She is represented by Scott J. Ferrell and Victoria C. Knowles of Pacific Trial Lawyers in Newport Beach.
