LOS ANGELES — A Riverside County woman is suing a benefit plan administrator, alleging breach of contract.

Crystal Snider filed a complaint March 10 in U.S. District Court for the Central District of California against Ascena Retail Group, Inc. Benefits Plan, and Does 1-10, alleging failure to pay medical coverage for her daughter.

According to the complaint, in 2015, Snider sustained monetary damages of more than $50,000 from having her claim for medical benefits for her daughter Brooklyn denied. The plaintiff alleges the defendants refused to pay for the air ambulance needed by her daughter to treat a serious respiratory ailment.

Snider seeks benefits payable to the plaintiff, court costs, interest and all further relief the court grants. She is represented by attorney Christian J. Garris of Law Offices of Christian J. Garris in Los Angeles.
