Man alleged to owe more than $40,000 on American Express card

SAN FRANCISCO – A San Francisco County man is alleged to have failed to pay a credit card.

American Express Centurion Bank filed a complaint on March 29 in the San Francisco County Superior Court against Ian Shea, also known as Ian M. Shea, and Does 1 through 20 alleging that they failed to settle his debt with the plaintiff.

According to the complaint, the defendant was issued an American Express Credit Card. The plaintiff holds Shea and Does 1 through 20 responsible because the defendants allegedly failed to pay the total amount of the debt to the plaintiff plus charges.

The plaintiff seeks sum of $40,970.28, all legal fees and any other relief as the court deems just. It is represented by Lina M. Michael, Brian P. McGurk and Christina Rymsza of Michael & Associates, PC in Thousand Oaks.
