United HealthCare Insurance Co. alleges Pristine Sun failed to pay for policies

SAN FRANCISCO – A San Francisco corporation is accused of failing to pay for two health insurance policies.

United HealthCare Insurance Co. filed a complaint on April 3 in the San Francisco County Superior Court against Pristine Sun LLC and Does 1 through 10 alleging breach of contract.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that the defendant purchased two group health insurance policies from it in 2015 for the defendant's employees.

The plaintiff holds Pristine Sun LLC and Does 1 through 10 responsible because the defendants allegedly breached their contractual agreement with the plaintiff by failing to pay it for the policies from January 2016 through February 2016.

The plaintiff seeks compensatory damages of $15,207.82, compensatory damages of $2,647.23, interest, all legal fees and any other relief as the court deems just. It is represented by Edward A. Stumpp and Rynicia L. Wilson of Sedgwick LLP in Los Angeles.
