State Farm Mutual Automobile Insurance Co. seeks subrogation recovery from individual

SAN FRANCISCO – An insurance firm is seeking more than $12,000 from a San Francisco County individual after a collision.

State Farm Mutual Automobile Insurance Co. filed a complaint for subrogation recovery on April 5 in the San Francisco County Superior Court against Edwin Suarez and Does 1-40.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that its insured Veronica Aragon was involved in a collision with the defendants on Nov. 9, 2015, on U.S. 101. The plaintiff holds Suarez and Does 1-40 responsible because the defendants allegedly negligently operated his vehicle and caused damages of $12,130.05 to Aragon.

The plaintiff seeks sum of $12,130.05, interest, all legal fees and any other relief as the court deems just. It is represented by Richard L. Mahfouz II and Shelby Poteet of Clerkin, Sinclair & Mahfouz LLP in San Diego.
