Law money 05

SAN FRANCISCO – A San Francisco individual alleges a Santa Rosa company installed a defective security system and overbilled for it.

Joshua Jaffe filed a complaint on April 5 in the San Francisco County Superior Court against the defendants North Bay AVS & Fire Inc., Jon Mueller and Does 1-10 alleging fraud, unjust enrichment and breach of contract.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff hired the defendants to install a high end audio-visual and security system in his house for a contract price of $132,334. He alleges he was billed $224,957, which he paid by mistake. The plaintiff holds North Bay AVS & Fire Inc., Mueller and Does 1-10 responsible because the defendants allegedly refused and failed to fix the defects of the work they did on the plaintiff's house.

The plaintiff seeks money damages, interest, all legal fees, punitive damages, restitution, and any other relief as the court deems just. He is represented by Anthony D. Giles of Law Office of Anthony Giles in San Francisco.
