Woman alleges Ford vehicle has defects with spark plugs

SAN FRANCISCO – A Santa Clara County woman alleges she purchased a vehicle that has engine defects.

Cecilia Sowinski filed a complaint on April 13 in the San Francisco County Superior Court against Ford Motor Co. and Does 1 through 10 alleging breach of express written warranty.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that she purchased a 2011 Ford Fiesta in 2012 and that it developed defects relating to the spark plugs during the warranty period. The plaintiff holds Ford Motor Co. and Does 1 through 10 responsible because the defendants allegedly have not been able to service or repair the vehicle to make it confirm with the warranties.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks actual damages, restitution, civil penalty, consequential and incidental damages, all legal fees, interest and any other relief as the court deems just. She is represented by Benjeman R. Beck and Tina Farazian of Strategic Legal Practices APC in Los Angeles.
