Man alleges defective Boosted 2 skateboard caused injuries

Medical malpractice 03

SAN FRANCISCO – A consumer alleges he suffered injuries to his knee because of an unsafe skateboard.

Scott Vroman filed a complaint on April 13 in the San Francisco County Superior Court against Boosted Inc. and Does 1-25 alleging strict products liability and negligence.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on Nov. 2, 2016, he was properly using a Boosted 2 motorized skateboard when suddenly and without warning the hand-held control failed because the Bluetooth connection was lost. Plaintiff alleges he suffered tears of his MCL, PCL and ACL to his right knee. The plaintiff holds Boosted Inc. and Does 1-25 responsible because the defendants allegedly negligently manufactured the defective and unsafe motorized skateboard.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks general and special damages, plus interest, costs of suit and such other just and proper relief. He is represented by Mark C. Thomas and Stephen J. Gorog of Law Office of Stephen J. Gorog in San Francisco.
