Tenants alleges property manages failed to repair water leaks, damages

SAN FRANCISCO – Three individuals have file suit against the current and former managers of their apartment over allegations of property issues.

Michael Anthony, Abran Mendoza and Cara Shenson filed a complaint on April 12 in the San Francisco County Superior Court against Azari Property Management, Evergreen Management, Dennis Fung, John Fung, Nancy Fung, Nora Fung, Jackson Group Property Management and Does 1 through 10 alleging negligence and other counts.

According to the complaint, the plaintiffs allege that they reside in one unit of a four-unit building in the Nob Hill neighborhood on Washington Street. They allege that the property has leaks and water damage, does not have adequate heat, broken sashes in the windows and other issues.

The plaintiffs holds Azari Property Management, Evergreen Management, Dennis Fung, John Fung, Nancy Fung, Nora Fung, Jackson Group Property Management and Does 1 through 10 responsible because the defendants allegedly failed to repair the defects on the property and forced the plaintiffs to live in filth.

The plaintiffs seek general damages, special damages, interest, all legal fees, economic damages, statutory penalties, punitive damages, contractual damages and any other relief as the court deems just. They are represented by Joseph S. Tobener and Julia O. Wobbe of Tobener Ravenscroft LLP in San Francisco.
