SAN FRANCISCO – A motorcyclist alleges that she was struck by a Lyft driver because he was making an illegal left turn.
Amber Marie Doherty filed a complaint on April 10 in the San Francisco County Superior Court against Paul Bryan Kanellakos and Lyft Inc. alleging negligence.
According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that she suffered injuries when the motorcycle she was riding was struck by the defendant, a Lyft driver, on Third Street in San Francisco. The plaintiff holds Kanellakos responsible because the defendant allegedly made an illegal left turn.
The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks relief for all losses. She is represented by Lee S. Harris of San Francisco.
