Driver failed to pay more than $8,000, State Farm claims

SAN FRANCISCO – An insurance company is seeking more than $8,000 in damages from a driver it alleges negligently caused a collision.

State Farm Mutual Automobile Insurance Co. filed a complaint for damages on April 17 in the San Francisco County Superior Court against the defendants Jackie Ray Well and Does 1 through 5.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on June 24, 2015, Well collided with its insured's vehicle on Fifth Street in San Francisco. The plaintiff alleges that it paid more than $8,000 for damages and that the defendants have failed to pay this amount.

The plaintiff seeks property damages of $8,503.64, all legal fees, interest and any other relief as the court deems just. It is represented by Susan M. Benson of Benson Legal, APC in Encino.
