Andrew M. Jordan Inc. alleges it is owed more than $2 million for work

SAN FRANCISCO – A Berkeley contractor alleges that it was not paid for work completed on several projects.

Andrew M. Jordan Inc., doing business as A & B Construction, filed a complaint on April 14 in the San Francisco County Superior Court against McCarthy Building Cos. Inc., Lyons Builders Inc., Pan-Pacific Mechanical LLC, Regents of the University of California, University of California San Francisco, Travelers Casualty & Surety Co. of America and Does 1-80 alleging breach of contract and other counts.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that it was contracted by the defendants for work on several projects. 

The plaintiff holds McCarthy Building Cos. Inc., Lyons Builders Inc., Pan-Pacific Mechanical LLC, Regents of the University of California, University of California San Francisco, Travelers Casualty & Surety Co. of America and Does 1-80 responsible because the defendants allegedly failed to pay the plaintiff for labor, materials and equipment.

The plaintiff seeks damages not less than $1,626,213.80; damages not less than $166,068; damages not less than $73,500; damages not less than $1,865,781.80; all legal fees, interest and any other relief as the court deems just.
