SAN FRANCISCO – An Alameda County resident alleges that he was injured by two security guards at a San Francisco music festival.

Shane Stevens filed a complaint on March 27 in the San Francisco County Superior Court against Treeline Security Inc., Jose Luis Beltran, William Eddwen Douglass Jr. and Does 1 to 50 alleging battery and false imprisonment.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff was attending the Hardly Strictly Bluegrass Festival in San Francisco on Sept. 30, 2016, and was watching a concert when he was approached by Beltran and Douglass, who were employed by Treeline Security. He alleges they restrained him and Beltran punched him in the head, which caused him to suffer a concession and injury to his left knee.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks compensatory damages, punitive damages, treble damages, statutory damages, all legal fees and any other relief as the court deems just. He is represented by Joseph S. May of Law Office of Joseph S. May in San Francisco.
