SAN FRANCISCO – Former tenants of the Albert Hotel in San Francisco County allege that the live-in manager sexually harassed them.

Ivonne J. Martinez, Cynthia Hernandez Martinez and Maria Elia Guerrero Martinez filed a complaint on April 19 in the San Francisco County Superior Court against Rojel Carranza, Daxa Patel, Sudhir Patel, Navnitbai Patel, Urmila Patel, Jayesh Patel, Jagruti Patel and Does 1 to 20 alleging sexual battery, fraud, negligence and other counts.

According to the complaint, the plaintiffs allege that they were wrongfully evicted from their apartment and that were subjected to sexual assault by Carranza.

The plaintiffs hold Carranza, Daxa Patel, Sudhir Patel, Navnitbai Patel, Urmila Patel, Jayesh Patel, Jagruti Patel and Does 1 to 20 responsible because the defendants allegedly acted to remove the plaintiffs without a substantial basis for the eviction and evicted them without legal justification and proper written notice.

The plaintiffs request a trial by jury and seek general damages, special damages, treble actual damages, exemplary and punitive damages, all legal fees and any other relief as this court deems just. They are represented by Rafael Crespo Jr. of Law Offices of Rafael Crespo Jr. in San Francisco.
