FRESNO – A Nevada company is seeking the return of a security deposit it placed on a Fresno rental property.

Kingsburg Produce LLC filed a complaint on May 9 in the Fresno County Superior Court against Mascot LLC and Does 1-25 alleging breach of lease and other counts.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on Dec 23, 2015, plaintiff made a security deposit of $37,976.66 to lease defendants' Fresno property. Plaintiff vacated the premises on March 3, 2017, the suit states. The plaintiff holds Mascot LLC and Does 1-25 responsible because the defendants allegedly falsely claimed damages to their property and refused to return plaintiff's security deposit.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks the return of the security deposit of $37,976.66, plus actual, compensatory and incidental damages, attorney’s fees, court costs and such other and further relief. It is represented by Lenden F. Webb of Webb Law Group APC in Fresno.
