SACRAMENTO – A former employee of a San Joaquin County medical association alleges that she is owed unpaid overtime wages.
Robyn Morrow filed a complaint on May 31 in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of California against Lodi Memorial Hospital Association Inc. alleging violation of California labor codes.
According to the complaint, the plaintiff was employed by the defendant from January 2010 to March 2017 as a pharmacy tech. The plaintiff holds Lodi Memorial Hospital Association Inc. responsible because the defendant allegedly failed to pay overtime premiums to the plaintiff for working more than 40 hours per week, failed to provide meal breaks and failed to provide proper pay stubs.
The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks unpaid overtime wages in an amount of more than $20,000, liquidated damages that exceeds $20,000, damages for meal premiums that exceeds $30,000, penalties and damages in $5,000, restitution and disgorgement, interest, all legal fees and any other relief as the court deems just.
